Je suis né le 2 octobre 1923 dans un joli petit village de la Gaspésie; l'avant dernier d'une famille de neuf (9) enfants de parents cultivateurs et travailleurs journaliers. Vétéran de deux guerres: Celle de 1939-45 et celle de Corée 1951-1954. Québécois de racines et de coeur, pour moi, il n'existe pas de plus belle province que celle de Québec avec ses gens fiers et courageux. Je me souviens de mes jeunes camarades québécois tombés à mes côtés sur le champ de bataille et ce, sans demander en retour autre chose la liberté des peuples pour qui ils combattent. Québécois pour moi c'est une fierté sans borne, car je vis parmi un peuple qui ne demande qu'à travailler et qui a le courage de se relever quand il est frappé. Etre fier d'être Québécois ne veut pas dire ignorer les gens qui habitent les autres provinces, car ayant fait une carrière militaire, j'ai eu à travers le Canada et j'y ai trouvé beaucoup d'amis. Mais la Province de Québec, pour moi, est celle ou je suis heureux de vivre en toute liberté et en harmonie avec sa belle population. JE ME SOUVIENS
