Canadian Prairie People Gallery

Melba Ave., Enchant, Alberta, 1986

This is one of my favorite portraits as it brings together the atmosphere of rural people and the small town and joins it with the fortuitous passing of the smallboy with his dog. In addition the picture was taken in the early spring before the leaves were out giving a rather naked view of the tree across the street. The people chatting on the corner were Norma Reynolds and Alma and Harry Severtson.
