Macdonald Air Station, Manitoba
In 1953-1954 I belonged to RCAF 403 Squadron(Auxiliary) in Calgary. On
one of the squadron's weekend trips I recall landing at this air station.
It was a cold winter and the snow was a few feet deep. On the return, there
was no snow in Calgary and there was a warm chinook wind blowing. On my
second visit to this location, in 1987, the land and buildings were occupied
by a Hutterite colony.
