I found this beautiful memorial park and its memorials soon after diembarking from the ferry that travels between North Sydney and Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland. As with many Canadian war memorials the local Canadian Legion branch takes a crucial role in Remembrance Day ceremonies and in daily upkeep.
