Capt Gerald A. Mendel, CStJ, Canadian Intelligence Corps

Mr. Mendel was a member of the 3rd Canadian Army Interrogation Team and waited on the ship which was prevented by rough seas from landing. He landed on the 7th and joined the 7th Brigade in Bretteville l'Orgueilleuse.
