Lt-Col L.V. Patrick, MBE, CD, The Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps

Colonel Patrick was Officer Commanding the Ordnance Field Park which was set up a few days after D-Day on the beaches to supply the 3rd Canadian Division. As the invasion continued, the complete unit became mobile carrying everything from light-bulbs to clutch-plates in "binned lorries" - mobile parts stores.
