Capt (N) W.H. Wilson, OMM, CD, Royal Canadian Navy

Captain Wilson was an Able Seaman at the time, and was employed as an anti-aircraft gunner on the HMCS Ottawa, a destroyer. The 'Ottawa' was conducting inshore anti-submarine patrol on D-Day.
