In the foreground is the Cross of Sacrifice which with the War Stone are usual parts of Commonwealth War Grave Cemeteries. There are 830 Canadian graves in this cemetery. In the distant background can be seen the ruins of the Abbé Mont St. Éloi northeast of Arras.
