Duplex Drive (DD) Tank, Juno Beach, 1989

This tank belonged to the 6th Armoured Regiment (1st Hussars). It now serves as a monument in itself as well as being a place for other regiments to affix their badges. This tank went into the sea and never reached land at D-Day. It was recovered from the sea 27 years later, was restored and commemorated to the memory of those who participated in the operation.
