Elot J.Penney, Corner Brook, Nfld, 1988
Born in 1899, Mr. Penney served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment 1917-1919. In peacetime he fished on the east coast of Newfoundland, was a lumberjack, river driver, and retired as a papermaker in Corner Brook. He served as a city councillor in Corner Brook. His portrait was taken by his house at 4 Penney's Lane, in Corner Brook.
