Samuel Stead, Little Catalina, Nfld, 1988
Born in 1900, Samuel served in The Royal Newfoundland Regiment 1917-1919.
He was wounded in Ledeghem, Belgium Ocotober 14, 1918. In peacetime he was
a fisherman on the French Shore of Labrador, a carpenter, and he worked
in lumbering in Newfoundland.
